Frequently Asked Questions
These are some of the questions that we are often asked about screenprinting.
We want to make sure that our customers have all the information that they need, so please don't hesitate to call or e-mail us if you have any questions that are not answered here.
How much will it cost for my T-shirt order?
There are a number of variables that come into play when we aere pricing your order. The biggest factors affecting price are: Quantity of pieces ordered, number of ink colors needed for your design, number of print locations for each piece, and the type of garment that you want to screenprint on.
Quantity and price are directly related. Keep in mind that it takes the same amount of time and effort for us to set up the press to print one piece of a design as it does for us to print 1000 pieces of that design. In other words, once we have the press set up for your design we can print as many pieces as needed. Therefore we must spread the cost of press setup over your entire order. The larger your order the better the pricing.
How long will it take Sold Out Merch to produce my order.
This depends on a number of factors, but the quick answer is 5-7 working days after we have your approval on the design artwork and a 50% deposit on the order.
On some specailty garments that need to be ordered we may need to adjsut the production time in order to account for shipping time to our facililty. Please also not that production time does not take into account shipping time to your location. When you are ready to place your order we can give you an accurate order production lead time.
What if I have a design idea, but no actual artwork for the design?
No problem! The Sold Out Merch graphic design team specializes in creating unique, professional and one of a kind designs for our customers. If you can think of it we can turn it into a great looking design for you.
What type of artwork files can I submit for my design?
We prefer to receive Adobe Illustrator files also know as AI files. We can also use Adobe PDF files or any other Vector based file format like EPS files ( Encapsulated Post Script ). We can also use JPEG or GIF files if you are submitting handdrawn artwork or a design that is only going to be printed using one ink color. Vector based file formats allow us to adjust the files for optimized screenprinting results.
What types of fabrics can you screenprint on?
We can screenprint on just about any type of fabric that you can think of. Depending on the type of fabric we may need to utilize some specialized screenprinting techniques in order to get the best results.
We can also screenprint on a variety of other materials that are not fabric. We oftern print on chloraplast signs, leather and a number of other non-fabric items. |
